SOLID Workshops for New Officers

If you elected new officers at the end of fall semester, those officers must complete SOLID Workshops. This must be completed through UConn's SOLID workshops. For registration and information, chapters must contact SOLID directly at solid@uconn.edu. Please refer to our "Expectations Overview" page and see the breakdown of Officer SOLID assignments under 'C Level'- Leadership. You can view the current SOLID status online: LINK. Note, the status is updated daily and changes based on UConntact rosters.

All new/associate member programs must conclude and all new/associate members eligible for initiation must be initiated by this date.

Roster Update #3 - End of Semester

  •  Review your roster on UConntact to make sure that all members are included AND all new members are indicated as “Associate Member.” (Please leave spring new members as "associate member" through the next term's first roster update.) If members are missing, click on the “Invite People” button to invite them and make sure the accept the invitation by the deadline.
  • “End Membership” of any associate that was not initiated and any other person that left the chapter
April 29
End of Semester Report

All groups are expected to submit an End of Semester report. The report must include:

  • Officer Information
  • Semester Reflections (highlights and challenges)
  • Service and Philanthropy Report
    • A-Level Status: Chapter hosts three (3) philanthropy events AND complete an average of 10 volunteer hours per member.
    • B-Level Status: Chapter hosts two (2) philanthropy events AND complete an average of 10 volunteer hours per member.
    • C-Level Status: Chapter hosts one (1) philanthropy event AND complete an average of five (5) volunteer hours per member
April 29

Rolling Spring Deadlines (based on chapter schedule)

Educational Program Proposal

Organizations must submit an Educational Program Proposal and have their event approved in advance by CFSD. Please review the Requirements for Educational Programs before submitting. 

5 business days prior to anticipated event.
Educational Program Reflections

Upon completion of an educational program, the chapter is responsible for completing the Educational Program Reflection  and providing documentation of attendance participation.

  • A-Level Status: B-Level and C-Level requirements and Chapter hosts and/or attends one (1) chapter choice values-based educational program in the spring semester with 75% attendance.
  • B-Level Status: C-Level requirement and Chapter hosts and/or attends one (1) program on Mental Health in the spring semester with 75% attendance.
  • C-Level Status: Chapter hosts and/or attends one (1) program on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the spring semester with 90% attendance.
Within 10 business days after the program. Reflections will not be accepted after April 29
Collaborative Event Reflections

Upon completion of the collaborative event, the chapter is responsible for completing the Program Reflection and providing documentation of attendance participation. Each collaborating chapter must submit their own reflection.

  • A-Level Status: B-Level and C-Level requirements and Chapter hosts one (1) event with a UConn Registered Student Organization (RSO) that is external to CFSD
  • B-Level Status: C-Level requirement and Chapter hosts one (1) event with a CFSD recognized fraternity/sorority that is a member of the same governing council
  • C-Level Status: Chapter hosts one (1) event with a CFSD recognized fraternity/sorority that is NOT a member of the same governing council.
Within 10 business days after the program. Reflections will not be accepted after April 29
Philanthropic Event Reflections

Upon completion of the philanthropic event, the chapter is responsible for completing the Program Reflection and providing documentation of attendance participation, how much money was raised, and where the funds were donated. 

    • A-Level Status: Chapter hosts three (3) philanthropy events
    • B-Level Status: Chapter hosts two (2) philanthropy events
    • C-Level Status: Chapter hosts one (1) philanthropy event

New members (including new/associate and transfers) must register for and complete the general Hazing AND Fraternity & Sorority Life modules on Prevent Zone.

Semester Status Update

Your chapter president will receive the semester status update by May 13, 2022.

This is an e-mail sent to chapter presidents BY the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Development. Note: The grades shared in the status update are contingent upon grade release reports. Review the scholarship requirements or talk with your CFSD advisor for more information.

This grade is the final grade for the culminating semester (Spring 2022). The following components will be calculated for the Spring 2022 semester status decision and overall culminating grade:
