Each year, the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Development recognizes chapters and individual members of the community for their outstanding performance and positive contributions with the following awards, Here are the 2026 Arete Award Winners:
Chapter Awards
Chapter awards are distributed based on self-nomination in conjunction with chapter’s performance with the chapter accreditation program for the previous year. Organization’s Expectation of Excellence grades are considered in the selection process.
- Excellence in Academic Achievement: Delta Zeta
- Excellence in Member Development: Sigma Phi Epsilon
- Excellence in Recruitment and Retention: Alpha Chi Omega
- Excellence in Chapter Operations: Pi Beta Phi
- Excellence in Community Impact: Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc.
- Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion: Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
- Excellence in Public Relations and Marketing: Gamma Phi Beta
- Excellence in Risk Mitigation: Alpha Ph
- IFC Chapter of the Year: Sigma Phi Epsilon
- CPH Chapter of the Year: Kappa Alpha Theta
- IGC Chapter of the Year: Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
