Message from the Council President
The Panhellenic Council is an umbrella organization, with 9 Panhellenic sororities. We aim to unify, support, inspire, and empower women. Through our four pillars of scholarship, leadership, philanthropy, and sisterhood, we strive to make an impact on the fraternity and sorority community as well as UConn at large. My Executive Board and I are excited to lead in 2022 and honored to represent our community. The UConn Panhellenic Council is unique in its ability to facilitate both friendship as well as personal growth. Joining this community has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life and my hope is that I can leave a positive impact on the current and future Panhellenic women in return.

Interested in Joining the Panhellenic Community?
We encourage all interested students to participate in primary recruitment. Primary recruitment gives interested students the opportunity to meet the entire Panhellenic community at UConn. Primary recruitment happens at the start of the fall semester. The most opportunities to join are available during Primary Recruitment; however, students can still join through Continuous Open Bidding (COB). COB looks very different from primary recruitment. It is more informal and, unlike primary recruitment, you do not need to attend events for all sororities. You are welcome to attend events for various sororities, though not all panhellenic chapters will participate in COB.
