Hello, My name is Bryan Aguilar and as we embark on the 2025 year, I am honored to serve as your IGC President. I am proud to represent our vibrant community of culturally based fraternities and sororities here on campus. IGC stands as a pillar of unity, diversity, and empowerment, celebrating the unique traditions and values that each of our organizations brings to campus life.
This year, our focus will be on fostering collaboration, strengthening community engagement, and providing opportunities for personal and leadership growth. Together, we will continue to uplift our members, honor our shared values, and make a lasting impact.

IGC Overview
The Intercultural Greek Council (IGC), established in 2002 as the Multicultural Greek Council, is the governing council for all culturally-based and multicultural fraternities and sororities represented and recognized at the University of Connecticut. The IGC unites its member organizations and through mutual respect and equality will accomplish the following goals:
- Advocate the needs and interests of all member organizations to advance and support their independent and mutual goals
- Provide a forum for communication to encourage cooperation among member organizations.
- Enforce campus expectations and the mutually high standards of its member organizations to ensure viable and valuable contributions to the University.
- Introduce initiatives that foster the personal development of individual members and the University community.
- Promote cultural awareness and positively represent the underrepresented student community.
