Pi Kappa Alpha, also known as Pike, is a male collegiate fraternity founded on March 1, 1868, at the University of Virginia. Built on the principles of integrity, intellect, and high moral character, Pike strives to develop men who lead with purpose and honor. The fraternity emphasizes leadership, academic success, and service to the community as key pillars of membership. Through shared values and strong brotherhood, members form lifelong friendships and connections that extend far beyond college. Pi Kappa Alpha encourages excellence in all aspects of life, both personally and professionally, with our main founding principles being that every Pike is a scholar, leader, athlete, and gentleman. With over 220 chapters and colonies across the United States and Canada, Pike continues to inspire generations of men to reach their full potential. At our university, we proudly uphold these traditions and values as we build a strong and lasting legacy.
