Phi Sigma Pi was founded on February 14th, 1916, at the University of Central Missouri. We are a gender-inclusive national honor fraternity whose motto is “Improving Humanity with Honor.” Our goal is to foster the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and fellowship, to create lifelong connections while encouraging personal growth and supporting the community. The Beta Pi chapter at the University of Connecticut was formed in 1994, and Phi Sigma Pi is the first and only honors fraternity to exist.
