Alpha Kappa Psi is a Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity, widely recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. Established in 1904, it is the first business fraternity created in the United States. The Psi Rho Chapter at the University of Connecticut is open to all majors, allowing students to create a diversified professional network. Along with servicing the community to better social prosperity, members develop lasting friendships in a supportive organization while enhancing their individual growth.

Hi everyone! My name is Vincent, and I serve as the President of the Psi Rho Petitioning Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. I'm a second year finance student, and outside of academics, I love going on cruises, trying new things, and going to the gym. When I first arrived at UConn as a freshman, I had my priorities straight: focus on my academics and adjust to college life. As I settled in, I realized I wanted more, which meant challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone to get involved in something that would help me grow. Ultimately, that decision led me to rebuilding Alpha Kappa Psi. I wanted to pursue leadership, expand my network, and surround myself with a community that pushes me to become the best version of myself. Our organization is grounded in the core values of Brotherhood, Unity, Service, Knowledge, and Integrity. This experience has taught me so much, especially the importance of balancing leadership with building meaningful relationships. Alpha Kappa Psi has given me a lot, and I'm committed to giving back by supporting the next generation of business leaders who choose to join our community. |
