Gamma Phi Beta strives to build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make an impact in the world around us. Since being "founded on a rock" in 1874, Gamma Phi Beta seeks to enrich the collegiate experiences of its members through four core values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty. Joining the UConn Community as the Eta Theta chapter in 2012, Gamma Phi Beta has endeavored to encourage Husky spirit, Panhellenic love, and empower women by their founding principles. Through the promotion of lifelong commitment and intellectual growth, cultivation of life-long friendships, and aspirations for excellence, Gamma Phi Beta inspires the highest type of womanhood for its sisters.

The Eta Theta chapter of Gamma Phi Beta aims to empower women through its four core values, philanthropic mission, and steadfast ideals. As a sisterhood, our prime object is to foster philanthropic drive, academic resilience, and social integrity. With each initiative we conduct as a chapter, it is eminent that we infuse love, respect, and determination into all that we do.
My experience in being a member of Gamma Phi at UConn has been immeasurably profound and impactful. The true and constant friendships, the leadership experience, and the overall life skills I have garnered as a result of my membership are invaluable. I am sincerely grateful for this sisterhood, and for the personal growth I have acquired as a result of it. Serving as the chapter President, I hope to convey the compassion, excellence, and dedication to our organization that is exhibited within our chapter each day - it is an incomprehensible honor to be entrusted with the tenets of our sisterhood in this role. |
