Alpha Beta Epsilon

Alpha Beta Epsilon written in Greek letters

Founded in 2003, Alpha Beta Epsilon was built upon the pillars of Brotherhood, Knowledge, and Service. As the University of Connecticut's premier academic fraternity, we strive to connect like-minded individuals of biology-related majors. We are a co-ed fraternity whose goal is to foster a balanced college environment and bring together a diverse group of students with similar interests. Over the years, members have been able to create a broad network of connections in many STEM fields, providing opportunities for research and future career paths.

Message from the Chapter President

Welcome to Alpha Beta Epsilon at the University of Connecticut! As UConn’s premier co-ed professional science fraternity, ABE brings together driven students from across the biological and natural sciences who share a common passion for scientific exploration and healthcare.

Our mission goes beyond the classroom. We cultivate a tight-knit community where members support each other through rigorous coursework, collaborate on academic and research pursuits, and build lasting professional networks. From peer mentorship and academic guidance to professional development and community service, Alpha Beta Epsilon provides the foundation, resources, and brotherhood to help you thrive during your time at UCONN and beyond.

Whether you are looking to get involved in research, prepare for graduate or professional school, or simply find a passionate community of like-minded peers who you can rely on, we invite you to learn more about our chapter and join us during recruitment.
