Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) is the home for 35 social fraternities and sororities and their governing councils at UConn. The OFSL is located in the Student Union, Room 315. OFSL staff members provide and coordinate resources and services designed to enhance the quality of chapter and council operations as well as the overall fraternal experience. Students are welcome to stop by SU 315 for information, leadership resources, or to make an appointment with staff for specific advisement. Students and advisors can also make an appointment by calling (860) 486-4710. Services available to fully registered fraternities and sororities include:
- Advisement to assist chapter officers in establishing and maintaining efficient organizational operations and quality programming consistent with the four pillars of Greek Life: academic achievement, service and philanthropy, leadership, and brotherhood / sisterhood.
- Access and ability to reserve available University facilities.
- Participation in the Greek Leadership Series seminars, workshops, and retreats specifically designed for new members as well as chapter and council officers.
- Access to the Greek Resource Library with a variety of specific resources geared toward fraternities and sororities.
- Participation in programming initiatives of the All Greek Council, the Interfraternity Council, the Multicultural Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic Council.
- Inclusion in publications of the Greek councils and the University.
- Participation in Greek Week, Homecoming, and other University programs.

Todd C. Sullivan
Director
Oversight/Advising: NPHC, Greek Leadership Cabinet, Greek Judicial Board, Growth Plan, Housing
Todd C. Sullivan became the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at UConn in 2006. Todd earned his BA in Film Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Upon graduation, he traveled for his fraternity, Delta Upsilon, as a leadership consultant for two years. He then advised the Interfraternity Council at Indiana University while completing his MS in Higher Education & Student Affairs. He worked for several years as the Assistant Director of Campus Life for Greek Affairs at Florida International University, and in 2003 became the first Director of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs at Tufts University. He has served on the Association of Fraternity Advisors Executive Board, and he facilitates leadership, diversity, anti-hazing, and recruitment programs for Campuspeak, Inc.

Lindsay Sell
Assistant Director
IFC, Programming, Marketing
Lindsay Sell serves as the Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Lindsay hails from Colorado where she attended Colorado State University to earn a BA in Speech Communication. Lindsay then spent a year traveling as an Educational Leadership Consultant for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. She then returned to Colorado State to complete an MS in Student Affairs in Higher Education while advising the Greek Judicial Board and working in the Office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct Services. Post graduate work, Lindsay served as the Coordinator of Student Programs at the Colorado State University Alumni Association and joined UConn’s OFSL staff in the summer of 2007.

Betty Conklin
Secretary
Budget Manager
Betty Conklin returned to the Greek scene as Secretary starting in the summer of 2006. She has worked in various secretarial capacities in the Student Union Director’s Office, Student Union Operations, Business Office, Student Involvement, Community Outreach, Greek Life, Residential Life, Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Health Services, Counseling Services and Career Services. Betty has spent the past nineteen and a half years within the Division of Student Affairs.

Greg Fink
Graduate Assistant
HuskyTHON, GAMMA, Multicultural Greek Council, President’s Forum
Greg Fink serves as a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life. Greg is from San Antonio and graduated in 2008 from Texas A&M University with a major in Human Resources Development and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, Greg worked with Texas A&M’s Student Activities Recognition Department as its Program Advisor helping to recognize over 800 student organizations. Currently, he is a graduate student in UConn’s Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Masters program.

Crystel Maldonado
Graduate Assistant
Panhellenic Council, Greek Week, Order of Omega, Fraternity and Sorority Life Book Club
Crystel Maldonado serves as a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life. Crystel graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2009 with a bachelor in Psychology. She served as Ramapo’s MGC President for two years and was named the 2009 Greek Leader of the Year. She is currently enrolled in UConn’s Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) masters program. Crystel is a member of Beta Kappa Sigma Black and Latina Sorority Inc. and will be serving as the National Internal Vice President.

Brittney Yancy
NPHC Advisor
Brittney Yancy serves as the Advisor to the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Brittney graduated from Hampton University in 2003 with a major in History. Following graduation Brittney moved to Connecticut where she joined the University of Connecticut as a graduate student and graduated with her masters in 2006. Currently she is a PhdD student in the Department of History and joined the OFSL staff in 2008. Brittney is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
