Thank you for your interest in joining a sorority (women’s organizations). There are many sororities on campus, and you are encouraged to take a look at the following links for more information on our many chapters.

Sorority recruitment registration is now closed

  • If you are interested in registering for Panhellenic recruitment, please read the instructions below:
    Please have the following items ready when you register:
    • Demographic information: name, student ID (PeopleSoft #), email address, high school grade point average, collegiate major, legacy information, high school and/or college activities.
    • Registration advice: If any data item is not applicable to you, leave blank and proceed to the next item. Some fields are mandatory. If one of these if not applicable to you, simply enter "N/A" or "none."
    • Registration fee: A $15 recruitment fee is assessed for participants in Panhellenic Fall Recruitment. Please have a credit card available if you plan to pay online. Other methods of payment will be accepted, but credit card payments are preferred.

  • Phi Sigma Rho does not participate in formal Panhellenic recruitment. They have set up the following recruitment events. For more information you can contact Jessica Mortell at jess7186@gmail.com. You can also join the Facebook group Phi Sigma Rho Fall ’08 Recruitment.
    • Tuesday 9/2 – 7-9pm Meet women in Engineering event! ICE CREAM SOCIAL, Castleman 204
    • Wednesday 9/3 – Visit the Phi Sigma Rho table at the Involvement Fair!
    • Thursday 9/4 – UConn Quest, 7-9pm - Meet 3rd Floor E2 Conference Room - Learn more about UConn by teaming up with sisters to collect items around campus! Prizes will be awarded to the team with the most points!
    • Saturday 9/6 – Brunch and hike around UConn, meet in Towers dining hall at 11:30am.
    • Monday 9/8 – 6-8pm Field Day at the field behind North – Back in the day games, teams of two, compete for fun prizes!
    • Wednesday 9/10 – R&R Night – Manicure, Pedicure, Facials, Arts and Crafts and a movie! Refreshments will be provided. 7-9pm in ITEB336.
