Greek Of The Month - October 2008
Greek of the Month is a peer recognition given to members of the Fraternity & Sorority Community who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, academic accomplishment and brotherhood/sisterhood. This individual is a person of good moral character who upholds the values of the fraternal community and the University.
Caroline Oks (Delta Zeta)

Caroline is the Vice President of Programming for Delta Zeta. In addition she is also the President of GAMMA, the Vice President of Membership for Order of Omega, and is a member of Rho Lambda. Outside of Greek Life, Caroline is also involved with the Office of Alcohol and Other Drugs as an AOD Ambassador. In 2008, she won Most Improved Sorority Scholar from the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life Her involvement and attitude exemplify the pillars that we strive to reach. |
Mike Loria (Sigma Alpha Epsilon)

Upon joining Sigma Alpha Epsilon in the Fall of 2007, Mike immediately showed his ability to lead and his willingness to work hard to be involved in making his chapter and the Greek community a better place. He currently serves as SAE’s Risk Manager and was recently selected as the Vice President of Administrative Affairs on the IFC Executive Committee. Mike is also a member of the UConn Ski Club and the National Collegiate Scholars. He continuously dedicates himself to helping those around him and can always be counted on. |
