2008 Council Retreat – Camp Woodstock

The University of Connecticut actively supports the growth enhancing opportunity for student self-governance. Primary authority for self-governance of fraternities and sororities rest with the four governing Greek councils:

• Interfraternity Council (IFC)
• Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
• National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
• Panhellenic Council (Panhellenic)
• Order of Omega
• GAMMA
• HuskyTHON
• Greek Week

Presidents' Forum

Presidents' Forum is the regular meeting of all fraternity and sorority council and chapter presidents. Coordinated and facilitated by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life staff and the four council presidents, Presidents' Council is the Greek discussion forum for the community. Once a month, all of the presidents come together to discuss issues that are currently facing the fraternity and sorority community as well as the campus community. This is also a great opportunity for presidents to share upcoming events and programs. All chapters and councils are expected to be represented at each Presidents' Forum meeting. Other Greek leaders, such as the Order of Omega President, are in attendance at these meetings.
